A free agent has teased potentially joining up with MJF in a new faction following his promo on last night’s Dynamite.
Last week on Dynamite, MJF cut a promo in the ring when he was interrupted by MVP and the Hurt Syndicate, with MVP detailing his history with MJF prior to him joining AEW.
To close the segment, MVP said that he could help MJF regain the AEW World Championship, before handing him a Hurt Syndicate business card to end the segment.
On last night’s Dynamite, MJF followed up on the segment, where he ran down all the potential next challengers for the AEW World Championship, before saying that ‘he may need a clique of his own’ if he is going to get back to the top.
Many took MJF’s comments as a potential hint that he may be set to form his own faction rather than joining up with the Hurt Syndicate, and one former ally of MJF’s has teased potentially joining up with him.
Responding to the segment, former TNA star Alex Hammerstone, who recently became a free agent, simply responded:
Hmm
Hammerstone was previously a stablemate of MJF’s during their time in MLW, where they were part of the Dynasty alongside Richard Holiday.
Hammerstone officially left TNA last month.
