WWE/AEW
A top free agent with reported interest from WWE is set to compete in a match on this weekend’s AEW Collision show.
Former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Kevin Knight has been a free agent since the end of January, when his contract with NJPW expired.
Since his free agency, Knight has competed on various independent shows, as well as competing in a dark match on AEW Dynamite, as well as a ROH taping.
It was recently reported that WWE had interest in potentially signing Kevin Knight following his free agency, but they will seemingly have to wait a little while longer.
On tonight’s March 26 AEW Dynamite show, Jay White announced that he would be a part of this year’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, but also that he would be returning to Collision this Saturday prior to the tournament.
It was then announced that Jay White’s match on Collision would be against Kevin Knight.
It was also announced that Jamie Hayter would be returning to action on Collision, as she’ll be taking on Queen Aminata.
