AEW President Tony Khan has revealed the opponents who will challenge FTR for the AAA Tag Team Titles on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
At the beginning of last night’s AEW Dark, a promo aired with FTR saying they’ll be holding an open challenge to any luchadores for the AAA Tag Title, with the exception of the Lucha Brothers, who FTR beat to win the title on October 16.
On Wrestling Observer Live, Tony Khan discussed FTR’s open challenge, revealing that Samuray Del Sol (fka Kalisto) and Aero Star will challenge the AAA Tag Team Champions on Dynamite.
Del Sol last wrestled on the April 2 edition of SmackDown. The former Cruiserweight Champion was released by WWE on April 15.
