It sounds like FTR will be making their first defence of the AAA Tag Team Championship on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
At the very beginning of last night’s AEW Dark, a promo aired with FTR saying they’ll be holding an open challenge to any luchadores for the AAA Tag Title.
Actually, not “any” luchadores, because there’s one exception, with that being the Lucha Brothers, who FTR beat to win the title on October 16.
The two teams will collide again at Full Gear with the Lucha Brothers’ AEW World Tag Team Title on the line.
One change made to the card for tonight’s Dynamite is there will be no Jon Moxley vs Orange Cassidy tournament semi-final match as Moxley is entering an inpatient alcohol treatment program.
It’s currently unknown how AEW will proceed with the tournament but we’ll keep you updated with any announcements.
Currently set for the show are:
- FTR defending the AAA Tag Team Title
- Cody Rhodes vs. Andrade El Idolo
- Anna Jay vs. Jamie Hayter – TBS Championship Tournament
#FTR are out to prove they are Lucha #LivingLegends and @DaxFTR + @CashWheelerFTR are issuing an open challenge to any luchadores for their @luchalibreaaa Tag Team Titles TOMORROW on #AEWDynamite with one exception: No #LuchaBros.
