Further Evidence Of Bray Wyatt Extreme Rules Return? WWE

Ever since Triple H took over WWE creative, WWE fans have been speculating about the returns of many former WWE stars who were released from the company, with the most recent return being Candice LeRae on the September 26 episode of Raw.

With the mysterious ‘White Rabbit’ teases being the talk of the WWE world, many believe the culprit behind them to be former WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt making his return.

Fans are looking for clues for Wyatt’s presence all around WWE, including on the recent match cards for the WWE Extreme Rules event.

The matches in question were the first two announced for the show, Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey and Seth Rollins vs Matt Riddle. Fans noticed that Liv vs Ronda’s match card didn’t have fireflies and a lantern in the background, while the match between Rollins and Riddle does.

There are many reasons this could have been the case. Liv and Ronda was the first match announced, so maybe it was simply using an older background image than Rollins vs Riddle, or it was a hint that Bray Wyatt or someone related to a lanter would interfere in the men’s portion of the show.

Well, that theory is now even stronger, as WWE announced a second women’s match for the show, Bianca Belair vs Bayley for the Raw Women’s Championship in a Ladder match, as well as two more men’s matches, Edge vs Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre vs Karrion Kross.

The Edge vs Balor and McIntyre vs Kross matches also feature the lantern and fireflies in the background, but interestingly, the other women’s match follows the same format as Liv vs Ronda, and does not have them in the background.

What the meaning of this is, we still have no idea, but it not being featured on both women’s matches, while it is there for all the men’s matches, is definitely something that has been done intentionally.
