A number of days ago WWE filed to trademark “The Collective”, and now Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) has followed up by doing the same.
On December 15, WWE filed for the term while GCW did the same on December 21. The Collective is the name GCW give it’s most recognisable events which are usually held on WrestleMania weekends.
It’s worth noting that both trademarks were filed with different descriptions. WWE’s implies it’s intended to be used by the name of a team/group/faction, while GCW’s implies it’s intended to be used as an event name.
In other GCW news, the promotion has formally requested to be removed from the Independent Wrestling TV network.
