GCW Results No Signal In The Hills 2 & Surprise Appearance By Lio Rush GCW

Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) held their No Signal in the Hills 2 show last night (July 15) and there was a surprise guest appearance.

Popping up at the event, former WWE and AEW star, Lio Rush appeared in a surprise angle where he popped up arena ahead of Blake Christian taking on Starboy Charlie.

While Rush initially came down to ringside, he eventually went back up the ramp and joined the team on commentary to discuss his storied history with GCW and Blake Christian.

Lio Rush is one of the few stars in professional wrestling who has worked for both WWE and AEW.

Rush recently spoke to WrestleTalk about recovering from injury and whether or not he had a timetable to return to the ring.

Blake Christian will challenge the GCW World Champion, AEW star Jon Moxley for the Championship at GCW: The People vs. GCW taking place during Starrcast V weekend in Nashville, Tennessee on July 29, 2022.

  • Blake Christian defeated Starboy Charlie; before the match began, Lio Rush came to the ringside area. He briefly confronted Christian and joined the commentary team.
  • Los Macizos defeated Nick Wayne and Jordan Oliver
  • Hunter Freeman defeated Rob Shit
  • GCW Tag Team Championship: BUSSY (c) defeated Second Gear Crew (Mance Warner and Matthew Justice); PPRAY were BUSSY’s scheduled opponents, but they were unable to make the show.
  • Dark Sheik defeated Cole Radrick
  • Joey Janela defeated Kevin Blackwood
