A giant WWE Title belt monument is being built in front of the company’s new headquarters.
On October 16, The Stamford Advocate reported that passers-by were already stopping to take photos of the seven-foot-tall WWE Championship belt structure over the weekend.
The monument has the words, ” WWE World Headquarters.”
Lauren Meyers, a special assistant to Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons, stated that the building permit for the structure was issued by the city in November 2022.
The work on the monument is currently not yet complete, as tiled flooring and lighting are set to be added in front and around the structure. There are also more decorations that will be added to the belt.
The belt straps on the monument will also eventually lay flat on its side, creating a public seating surface for those visiting.
The previous Titan Towers location is also set to be sold once the transition is complete to the new headquarters.
