WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia has reflected on her recent return to Japan, sharing a message to the fans.
Giulia recently returned to Japan as part of the WWE SuperShow tour in October, defending her title in two house show matches.
Giulia has now shared a message with fans in Japan in a video shared by the WWE Japan Twitter account.
After noting that she initially thought her return to Japan was coming a little too soon after just a year away, Giulia noted that she enjoyed coming back and returning to her roots.
When asked if she had a message for fans in her home country, Giulia stated that she’s hopeful she can surpass previous Japanese wrestlers who made names for themselves in the US, stating:
“In America, it’s not easy for Japanese wrestlers to succeed, but there are so many Japanese superstars who have done it before me.
“I want to chase them and someday surpass them, and realize my own dreams too. Let’s all dream together!”
Also returning to Japan, for the last time as a WWE star, was AJ Styles, who shared his own message to the fans in attendance.
Giulia captured the WWE Women’s United States Championship at the June 27 episode of SmackDown before Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.
At the time of writing, Giulia has been WWE Women’s United States Champion for 129 days, having joined SmackDown in May of last year.
