GM mode, a part of previous WWE video games and a mode loved by many fans, returns with the release of WWE 2K22 in March of next year.
Mike Straw, the managing editor of Sports Gamers Online, broke the news today (September 9).
Sources with knowledge of the matter spoke to Sports Gamers Online, calling GM Mode “a top priority”, which the source guaranteed with certainty.
Full details of the revamped game mode are not yet available.
Another source told Sports Gamers Online that GM mode would be what sells the new game.
2K plans to have a full reveal of features in January 2022.
Following the release of SmackDown vs. Raw 2008, GM Mode was replaced with the Road to WrestleMania Mode and then later Universe Mode.
Beyond releasing in March 2022, WWE 2K22’s exact release date is yet to be announced.
