Goldberg Addresses WWE Contract Status

Goldberg Addresses WWE Contract Status WWE

Goldberg has spoken out about how much time he has left under his current WWE contract and a fascinating request from Stephanie McMahon.

Appearing on the Roman Atwood podcast, Goldberg said:

“My relationship with WWE has never been a hundred percent on the up and up because I worked for a company competing against them in the Monday Night Wars, and I had the title right, so I don’t expect them ever to treat me like one of their own.

“I can’t remember what the point of this story was, but I’ve been hitting the head way too many times, quite obviously, as you can see in real-time……Stephanie [McMahon], if you’re listening to this, my contract ends in two months, so don’t hold this against me.

“Stephanie came up to me backstage one night, and she said, ‘I heard you’ve been headbutting the doors.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s how I gotta be me.’ She’s like, ‘I don’t want you to be headbutting any more doors.’

“I put my head through a lot of things across the country from 94-97, and I guarantee you half of them are still there.”

So with two months left on his contract, will we potentially see more of Goldberg (head butting things or not) now that there is a new creative regime in WWE?
