In challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble, Goldberg could break a major WWE record currently held by Vince McMahon.
If Goldberg beats McIntyre and wins the title, he will become the oldest ever holder of the WWE Championship.
He’ll be 54 years and 35 days old at Royal Rumble, which would be enough to get him the top spot… just.
Vince McMahon was 54 years and 21 days old when he won the WWE Championship from Triple H on September 16, 1999 thanks to Steve Austin.
McIntyre tested positive for COVID-19 this past weekend ahead of Raw so he’ll be quarantining but as long as he’s healthy will be back for the match at the Rumble.
