WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has revealed the “extreme lengths” he has gone through for his upcoming WWE retirement match.
At WWE Bad Blood, Bill Goldberg made his return to the company for the first time since 2022 in his hometown of Atlanta.
During the event, the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion got into a confrontation with “The Ring General” GUNTHER.
Following the show, Goldberg announced that he would making his in-ring return for his retirement match in WWE in 2025.
Speaking on CarCast, Goldberg discussed the training he is going through ahead of his final match. He said:
“I’m thinking, ‘I’m doing all of this s**t for one night.’
“I’m literally busting my ass. I’m up here in the garage, in the gym, every night.”
On how his training being different now at his age, Goldberg said:
“Granted, I don’t work out like I used to. It’s a 45-minute Jack LaLanne workout as opposed to the whole Goldberg days.
“I stretch for 45 minutes. I used to only stretch for ten (minutes), but now I have to stretch for an hour and ten because I’m so ancient.”
The report also notes that Goldberg is heading to the BioAccelerator in Colombia to receive stem cell treatment.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Goldberg’s in-ring return when they become available.
