WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has taken issue with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ comments about hard-hitting offence.
While Roman Reigns and Goldberg are recognised as powerhouses of their respective generations, Goldberg believes that his moveset is more impactful than the Tribal Chief’s.
Speaking on the Roman Atwood podcast, Goldberg argued that legitimately hitting people hard is fine as long as you don’t hurt them. Firing shots at Roman Reigns’ spear, Goldberg said:
“I’ll just be honest, Roman said how stupid it is to go out and hit people hard. Well, if you hit people hard and not hurt them, blur that line, I think it’s pretty smart. Plus, I don’t look like a, no offense, girl when I tackle people.”
Goldberg last wrestled for WWE at the Elimination Chamber premium live event in February, unsuccessfully challenging for Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship, ahead of Reigns’ title unification bout against WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.
Reigns went on to win the unification bout, and has been recognised as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion since April.
