WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has provided an update on the status of his injured knee heading into WWE Crown Jewel next week.
In Saudi Arabia on October 21, Goldberg will face Bobby Lashley in a SummerSlam rematch after Lashley attacked Goldberg’s son Gage.
After SummerSlam, it was said that Goldberg required knee surgery, and he’s now provided an update on his condition. Speaking on CarCast, he said:
“Knee’s much better. Hopefully it’ll be – I won’t be completely healed by then but it’ll be, suffice to say, in good enough shape to kick Bobby’s ass. Let’s just say that.”
Considering what the Saudi show paydays are like, you could probably cut both of Goldberg’s legs off and he’d still work the show.
The Crown Jewel card also includes the likes of Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar, Big E vs Drew McIntyre, and Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair vs Sasha Banks.
