Goldberg Reveals Possibility Of His Son Gage Becoming A Wrestler WWE

Goldberg has discussed the possibility of his son, Gage, becoming a pro-wrestler.

The Hall of Famer has hinted that his Universal Title bout against Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber could be his last match in WWE. On WWE After the Bell, Goldberg stated that it’s highly possible that Gage will one day step into the ring.

When asked whether or not he sees Gage wrestling for WWE in the future, Goldberg said:

“It’s highly possible that that will hopefully be an option for him. I do believe it’s inbred in him to have the love and passion for sports. The physicality of football, the physicality of playing catcher and wrestling. They’re all the same and it’s all about opportunities. I want him to follow his dream, he’s already proven to me and everybody else that he’s already become a better baseball player than I ever can be.

“I don’t want him to ever be compared against me because it’s not fair. He’s his own guy, I just want to be able to provide him opportunities and let him make his own choice, and get him as prepared as humanly possible for life. That’s what it’s all about, man, I think it’s highly possible. Will the opportunity present itself? Only time will tell.”

Gage was featured in his father’s rivalry with Bobby Lashley last year, notably getting attacked by Lashley at SummerSlam 2022.

Also at Elimination Chamber, Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship in the main event of the show. Stay up to date with every WWE title change of 2022 using our tracker at this link.
