Thought you’d seen the last of Goldberg in WWE, eh? Well, not so fast, dear reader, it seems he is not done in the squared circle just yet.
Appearing on WWE’s The Bump, the former WCW Champion threw out a massive challenge. He called out Universal Champion Roman Reigns on the show, saying he is the one who delivers the spear, not Roman. Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT tweeted out a bit of Goldberg’s appearance earlier today. Here is the tweet:
Goldberg on Roman Reigns: "Let’s be perfectly honest, I’m the dude who delivers the spear and I don’t think he understands what’s like until I deliver one to him. So Roman, it’s coming and I’m coming for you. I may be old, I may be grey, but I’m still Goldberg.”

Roman Reigns and Goldberg were supposed to wrestle at last year’s WrestleMania before the pandemic changed everything. Instead, Reigns was replaced by Braun Strowman and we never got the big clash between spears.
Now, Reigns has returned and captured the Universal title, meaning it seems we can have the match between him and Goldberg after all. Whether fans actually want to see it or not is another matter entirely.
