Goldberg Segment Announced For Raw Next Week

A segment featuring Goldberg has been announced for Monday Night Raw, following his recent confrontation with Bobby Lashley.

On July 19, Goldberg returned to WWE to tell the WWE Champion “I’m next”. WWE has announced that on Monday (August 2), the former Universal Champion will address Bobby Lashley and MVP, following their stare-down.

While the match is yet to be officially announced, it was previously reported that Goldberg will challenge Lashley to a match at SummerSlam. In an interview, Goldberg expressed his excitement for the upcoming title bout.

Goldberg last competed at Royal Rumble 2021, unsuccessfully challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title. As Goldberg’s WWE contract reportedly only requires him to wrestle twice a year, SummerSlam might be Goldberg’s final WWE match until 2022.

Goldberg is also set to appear on the August 16 episode of Raw, ahead of SummerSlam on August 21. On last night’s (July 30) episode of SmackDown, Roman Reigns vs John Cena was made official for The Biggest Party of the Summer.
