Goldberg SHOOTS on WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony

WWE Hall of Famer and former Universal Champion Goldberg recently did and interview with Inside the Ropes. During the interview he talked about being able to headline the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2018. Goldberg was very critical of the format with which the ceremony is done. Highlights of the interview are below.

Of what he thinks about the Hall of Fame ceremony Goldberg said:

“First and foremost, I went to Vince and I told him my impression of the Hall of Fame and what should happen. I don’t think it’s justice to the people being inducted. I don’t think it’s justice to the fans that sit there for four hours. I think it needs to be changed completely right up on its head. I don’t care what anybody says and I don’t care if the person who puts it together thinks I’m full of s–t. It needs to be changed because it sucks. I don’t care about what other people say or how they did it, I’m telling you in my experience as a headliner in 2018 in the Hall of Fame—it needs to be changed.”

Goldberg wasn’t happy that the crowd had to sit there for four hours. He also wasn’t happy about the crowd leaving during the speeches of the final few inductees. Though there were many things that he didn’t like about the ceremony itself, Goldberg said that it was one of the coolest experiences of his life to be able to headline a WWE Hall of Fame class.

During the interview Goldberg also talked about what he felt like backstage during the Raw after WrestleMania 34 and being open to another match potentially one against The Undertaker if the time and opportunity are right. The full interview can be seen here.
