An update on WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg’s son Gage potentially joining WWE ahead of Goldberg’s upcoming retirement match.
WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg is set to compete in his retirement match at the upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Atlanta on July 12.
Goldberg will challenge GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship on the show after their segment at WWE Bad Blood back in October.
Goldberg’s son Gage has made a number of appearances on WWE television, with Goldberg’s initial return to WWE back in 2016 being so Goldberg could let his son see him perform.
Speaking to Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, Gage commented on his potential future in wrestling, noting that it is his backup plan if Football doesn’t work out.
He said:
“It’s there. It’s a backup plan for sure. Football is the first priority 100 percent… Football is my main plan. WWE is the backup plan, 100 percent.”
