Goldberg was last seen in a WWE ring on June 7th after competing in a first-time-ever clash with The Undertaker at Super ShowDown.
The match in Saudi Arabia was frankly hard to watch, with both men scarily botching some their signature offence. Goldberg later revealed that he somehow managed to knock himself out during the bout.
Since then, The Undertaker has made his emphatic return to WWE. “The Deadman” will be teaming with Roman Reigns to take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred match at Extreme Rules later this month.
Booker T speculated that The Undertaker returned so quickly in order to get rid of the “bad taste” that his woeful match with Goldberg last month would have left.
However, reports later emerged suggesting the Extreme Rules match was planned before Super ShowDown.
Goldberg was asked by a fan on Twitter if he was now done in the ring after losing to The Undertaker, or if he felt he had something else he needed to accomplish in the ring before retiring.
In response, Goldberg said that the only thing he needed to accomplish is erasing the bad feeling he had after his last performance.
The only thing I need to accomplish is to erase the feeling I have from my last performance 🤬 https://t.co/2HH1Ax2cDO

While nothing is concrete, it certainly seems as if the former Universal Champion is eager to step back into the ring and have one final good performance before retiring for good.
There is currently no word on whether WWE intends on bringing Goldberg back to the company for any storylines, but one has to think that a match at WWE’s next Saudi Arabia show in November for the WCW icon is not off the table.
