WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has provided a major update on when his retirement match will take place, and who it could be against.
Goldberg returned to WWE at Bad Blood earlier this month for a confrontation with GUNTHER.
It appeared that may have been setting up a match between the two, and it’s now looking more likely that that’s the case.
During a football appearance on ESPN today, Goldberg announced that his retirement match will take place in 2025.
While he didn’t outright confirm his opponent, he said there’s an obvious leading candidate after a video was played of the segment at Bad Blood.
Goldberg also said there isn’t a specific date set in stone yet, but it will happen next year.
His last match was when he lost to Roman Reigns at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022.
