The “Golden Six Shooter” is set for next week’s IMPACT Wrestling.
On tonight’s January 19 edition of IMPACT on AXS TV, new Director of Authority Santino Marella started to leave his mark on the promotion.
After setting up the opening six person tag team match, Marella decided that he wanted to set up the next challenger for Josh Alexander’s IMPACT World Championship.
Santino announced a new match concept entitled “The Golden Six Shooter” where six former IMPACT World Champions will battle it out to determine the #1 contender for the title.
On next week’s January 26 edition of the show, it will be Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann, Sami Callihan, Chris Sabin, Rhino and Moose in a six way match with the winner to face Josh Alexander at No Surrender in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, February 24.
Alexander successfully defended the IMPACT World Championship in a Full Metal Mayhem match at Hard To Kill on January 13.
As previously reported, a former WWE and WCW star made their debut on tonight’s IMPACT on AXS TV.
