Golden Ticket Battle Royal Announced For Next Week Grand Slam AEW Rampage

On tonight’s edition of AEW Rampage, a major new match was introduced for next week’s Grand Slam edition of AEW Rampage.

While it was announced earlier in the show that the Grand Slam edition of AEW Rampage on September 23 was going to be a two-hour long affair, the match card has already begun to fill out.

Blending real world backstage drama and in-ring action, Sammy Guevara is set to face off against Eddie Kingston in a major grudge match.

Now announced, a Golden Ticket Battle Royal by which the winner will earn a “Golden Ticket” which ensures them a future AEW World Championship title opportunity.

With MJF already holding a chip from the All Out Casino Battle Royal which he can similarly cash in for a World Championship match, the golden ticket has a very particular caveat.

Announced on AEW Rampage, the stipulation within the special match is that the golden ticket winner will win a future AEW World Championship title opportunity at an assigned date and time.
