It’s being reported that Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado are unhappy about how they’re currently being used in WWE.
Mas Luchas reported a few days ago that Metalik had requested his release from WWE, and PWInsider has now confirmed that to be accurate.
PWInsider notes that Metalik and Dorado – collectively the Lucha House Party – have been waiting to speak with WWE management at TV tapings about their issues.
There is currently no word on whether Dorado has also requested his release.
AEW’s Bryan Danielson is someone who has been a big advocate for Gran Metalik, and while he was on the creative team he pushed for Metalik to get more opportunities.
The duo was last used together during the September 13 taping for WWE Main Event, losing to Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza.
Dorado then lost a singles match to Cedric Alexander at this past Monday’s Main Event taping.
