A new report has revealed an update on a WWE star being “pulled” from last night’s March 20 episode of Raw.
As previously reported, the WRKD Wrestling Twitter account, and GiveMeSports’ Louis Dangoor, both reported that NXT star Grayson Waller would appear on the March 20 edition of WWE Raw to continue his feud with Johnny Gargano.
However, Waller did not in fact appear despite Johnny Gargano having a match with The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that Grayson Waller was never scheduled for the program.
According to numerous sources at WWE Raw, Waller was not brought in, was not involved in the creative plans and was not set for the show in any capacity.
The report notes that the first creative heard of the rumor was when they were asked if it was true.
It’s worth noting that WRKD Wrestling did have two other notes about Raw, both of which were correct, in that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn would open the show to make their WrestleMania match vs the Usos official, and that Solo Sikoa would shine in the closing segment.
So far, the account, which has only been around for a month, has also correctly reported on Trish Stratus’ return (which WWE changed plans multiple times for as confirmed by sources like Fightful and the Wrestling Observer), Vikingo’s imminent AEW debut, plans for the latest episode of SmackDown, FTR returning to AEW, and more.
Grayson Waller is scheduled to face Johnny Gargano at NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday, April 1.
