Yet Another Star Pulled From WWE Raw WWE

It sounds like it was a day of changes for last night’s March 20 episode of WWE Raw, with yet another talent being pulled from the show.

We’ve already covered a couple of the changes, but it turns out there was another big one.

Firstly, Carmella was absent from the show, being replaced by Piper Niven in teaming with Chelsea Green against Asuka and Bianca Belair.

There was also a previously announced tag match between the Maximum Male Models and the OC that was acknowledged on the show as being “postponed”.

That’s not all though, as NXT star Grayson Waller was reportedly planned to be on the show, but things didn’t work out.

Earlier yesterday, WRKD Wrestling had tweeted:

Owens/Zayn and The Usos will open Raw tonight to make their #WrestleMania match official.

Grayson Waller will be in the building for a segment working toward his match with Johnny Gargano.

Roman and Cody will close the show with a segment that has Solo shine. #WWERaw

Two of those things did happen – the one that didn’t was Waller appearing, although there was a video replay of what happened between him and Gargano on NXT last week.

Fast-forward to after the show, WRKD Wrestling posted:

Plans changed throughout the day regarding Waller, sadly.

Even judging by Waller’s own Twitter this seems to be true, as earlier in the day he’d teased an appearance by saying “big plans tonight”, but then a few hours later, he backtracked on that and said his plans involved NOT “giving Johnny Comic Book any more of my clout”.

Waller and Gargano are set for a match at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 1 afternoon in a match 15 months in the making after Waller attacked Gargano and wrote him off NXT and WWE TV when he left the company in December 2021, before he returned to WWE Raw in August 2022.

Also, if you were wondering, there was no sign or mention of Bray Wyatt, Bobby Lashley, or their WrestleMania match last night either, although it didn’t seem like either of them were scheduled for the show to begin with.

Wyatt has been battling an illness which has put the status of that match up in the air.

We’ll let you know if further details emerge on any of the aforementioned changes and situations.
