Guinness World Records have responded to the ‘GOAT’ AEW star following his recent comments about potentially breaking a record.
Kenny Omega has been all over the world during his legendary wrestling career, before AEW and even NJPW Kenny Omega, there was AJPW Kenny.
Today marks the 13th anniversary of Kenny’s debut in All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he entered the Junior Heavyweight League, defeating the reigning champion KAI.
Responding to the anniversary of his debut in AJPW, Kenny reflected on the match, and drinking 4 liters of water once he got to the back due to the summer heat and demand of the bout.
He said:
loved my AJPW run and KAI was one of my favorite rivals.
I remember that because of the summer heat and demand of the match that I drank over 4 liters of water once I got back to the dressing room. Must’ve been a Guinness World Record or something.
Responding to Kenny’s comments about potentially breaking a record, Guinness World Records itself responded to Kenny, declaring him ‘the goat’.
They responded:
