GUNTHER Shares Honest Thoughts On Triple H Running WWE Creative WWE

Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER has shared his honest thoughts on Triple H running WWE creative.

There’s currently a lot of uncertainty surrounding the future of the current WWE management team.

Following Vince McMahon’s departure in July 2022, Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon and President Nick Khan took over as co-CEOs, with Triple H overseeing creative as the new Chief Content Officer.

Vince McMahon returned to the WWE board of directors at the beginning of the year, as the company began receiving advice about a potential sale.

Stephanie McMahon recently announced her resignation from the company, leading to speculation that her husband Triple H could soon leave WWE, or at least have a role change.

Speaking with My San Antonio, GUNTHER argued that he’d be able to thrive in WWE, regardless of the management team.

Discussing his current relationship with Triple H, GUNTHER said:

“I think I would want to say about myself, that it doesn’t matter who’s in charge, my performance speaks for itself. But obviously, I have a good connection to Triple H, because he was the one who brought me in.

“And I think he understood what I am in the ring and understands who can be in the ring. He has given me the opportunities to showcase that.

“So obviously, yeah, I would say it benefited me, but if there will be anybody else, I think I will be fine too.”

In another interview with Dallas Morning News, GUNTHER addressed rumors about the company’s sale by noting ‘I’m not the CEO. I’m a wrestler.’

The popular star notably won the Intercontinental Championship in June, under the previous Vince McMahon regime.
