GUNTHER has sent an ominous message to Cody Rhodes after the pair’s handshake at WWE Crown Jewel 2024.
In the main event of Saturday’s Crown Jewel PLE (November 2), Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER faced off one-on-one for the very first time in WWE.
While many fans speculated regarding potential interference from the likes of Kevin Owens or Goldberg, the pair instead saw their bout end in clean fashion, with Rhodes reversing a sleeper attempt from GUNTHER into a pinfall.
After the bell GUNTHER shook the hand of Rhodes, but seemingly gestured to him that he’d like another match with The American Nightmare.
Posting a clip of the handshake to Twitter several days after their bout, GUNTHER seemingly confirmed that his war with Rhodes was not their final chapter.

With Crown Jewel in the rear-view, all attention goes towards tonight’s WWE Raw which was pre-taped at Riyadh’s Mohammed Abdo Arena on Sunday.
Taking place on the show is a four-way to determine GUNTHER’s next challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship, with Seth Rollins, Dominik Mysterio, Sheamus and Damian Priest competing for that honor.
