GUNTHER Comments On Possible Redesign Of Intercontinental Championship WWE

GUNTHER has commented on a possible redesign of the Intercontinental Championship.

In recent weeks, WWE has been doing various redesign and introductions of the championship belts. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley and Asuka have all received new championship belts.

On SmackDown, Reigns was awarded a new Undisputed WWE Universal Championship belt after eclipsing 1,000 days as champion, while Asuka received a white-strapped variation of Roman’s title to mark her new status as WWE Women’s Champion.

Meanwhile on Raw, Seth Rollins was crowned the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions, while Rhea Ripley received a white strapped variation of Seth’s belt to become known as the WWE Women’s World Champion.

Speaking with Steve Fall on Ten Count, GUNTHER was asked about a possible redesign of his Intercontinental Champion which has been the same since November 2019. He answered:

“I’m fine with the one I got. I personally always liked the old design, with the white strap. Things have to develop, and things have to move forward. I think it’s just personal taste. I’m very pleased with how it looks right now.”

As previously reported, GUNTHER discussed a potential title unification match with Seth Rollins elsewhere in the interview.
