A new Intercontinental Champion was crowned on tonight’s (June 10) episode of WWE SmackDown.
On last week’s show, WWE announced that Ricochet would defend his Intercontinental Championship against Gunther on tonight’s show.
Gunther ended up winning the match, capturing his first championship on the WWE main roster after just two months.
Reports emerged earlier today indicating that Vince McMahon has been high on Gunther since he made his main roster debut. Read more about that at this link.
