WWE has confirmed GUNTHER’s immediate plans for Monday Night Raw after retiring John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
A stunned silence fell over Washington D.C.’s Capitol One Arena last night as “The Ring General” GUNTHER forced John Cena to submit for the first time in two decades in the 17-time world champion’s final WWE match.
While many fans were vocal in their displeasure at the result – forcing Triple H to address the decision on the Saturday Night’s Main Event post show – we now know what WWE has in store for GUNTHER on tomorrow night’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
Taking to social media as he always does on a Sunday, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that GUNTHER would be appearing live on Monday’s show in Hershey, PA.
Also confirmed for WWE Raw: CM Punk will make his return to the red brand after several weeks away, Stephanie Vaquer will defend the Women’s World Title against Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri defends her title for the first time against Ivy Nile and The New Day and The Usos compete against each other for the first time in three years.
