WWE announced several matches for the upcoming WWE European tour later this month, including a huge Undisputed WWE Universal Championship clash between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
Advertised for the show was Gunther, set for his first WWE European tour as part of the active WWE main roster, with his opponent not yet announced.
Gunther took to Twitter today (April 15) to announce his opponent for the show in Leipzig, Germany, and subsequently the rest of the tour, as none other than Sami Zayn.
Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser both recently underwent name changes due to a reported new WWE protocol. For a list of all WWE name changes for 2022 so far, click here.
