WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has called the company’s majority owner Vince McMahon the “best wrestler in history”.
While Kurt Angle is one of the best wrestlers ever when it comes to technical ability, he believes the facial expressions of Vince McMahon, and his ability to entertain, set him apart as the best.
Speaking on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast, Angle said:
“What you see on TV with Vince isn’t the real Vince. He likes to ham it up a bit and you know, that’s his thing. He’s the best wrestler in history. In other words, when he wrestles, everybody watches. He does these looks with his eyes when he’s going crazy and he’s mad.”
Angle also revealed recently that Shaquille O’Neal has tried to get him to sign with AEW, but he doesn’t intend to as he considers himself retired at this point.
