A new documentary, focusing on a beloved WWE Hall of Famer, has been announced for next week on Peacock and the WWE Network.
Beth Phoenix is one of the most iconic women ever to step into a WWE ring. It has now been confirmed that the women’s wrestling pioneer will feature in one of WWE’s top documentary series’.
Phoenix will have her career revisited with the latest instalment of the WWE Icons series. Her husband Edge has taken to Twitter to announce that The Glamazon’s documentary will air next Sunday on March 28.
Referring to Phoenix as his “much better half”, Edge tweeted:
“Just slightly stoked to announce my much better half @TheBethPhoenix has her #Icons documentary airing starting March 28 on @peacockTV & @WWENetwork .#Glamazon“
The WWE Icons series retells the exciting careers of WWE legends and Hall of Famers. Joining the company in 2004, The Glamazon has been involved in many major WWE moments, from eliminating The Great Khali at Royal Rumble 2010, to competing for the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 35.
More recently, Phoenix has been a commentator on NXT TV. A new NXT UK special has been announced for WrestleMania week, headlined by a major WALTER match.
