Hangman Page Addresses The Elite & Blackpool Combat Club

Hangman Page Addresses The Elite & Blackpool Combat Club AEW

Following his hiatus after a screwdriver attack from the Blackpool Combat Club on the April 5 AEW Dynamite, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page returned to the ring at Saturday’s (May 13) AEW House Rules show.

During his first match since March 15, Page defeated Big Bill in singles action.

While Hangman’s new look at the show would show off the spoils of war with the Blackpool Combat Club, he would address his absence and share a message for both the BCC and The Elite.

In a fan video now shared to Twitter, Hangman revealed that it was his mother who convinced him to compete at House Rules.

The topic of family would lead on to the topic of The Elite, a group of men Page would describe as family in the promo, saying:

“Family it’s an incredible thing, you don’t get to choose them until sometimes you do, sometimes friends become more than that maybe you’re not even friends no more maybe you’re just family and I’ve got some family that I’ve not been able to speak to…”

“Some of that family still happens to be fighting the same Blackpool Combat Club that nearly took my eye so as far as I see it family is always family, and when it comes to revenge I say and eye for an eye.”
