Hangman Adam Page battled with Wheeler Yuta in the opening match of tonight’s AEW Rampage.
On the January 25 edition of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page challenged Jon Moxley to a rematch next Wednesday in his home state of Ohio.
Moxley’s Blackpool Combat Club stablemate Wheeler Yuta accepted the challenge on behalf of his mentor and then made a challenge to Page for Friday’s AEW Rampage.
This bout kicked off the January 27 episode of Rampage with both men holding nothing back against one another.
After a back and forth encounter, Hangman Page picked up the win with a Buckshot Lariat and then followed by hitting Moxley’s Death Rider finisher for the pinfall.
Following his victory, Hangman called out to Moxley and asked if he is watching what he just did. He told Mox that he would see him on Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio.
We will have further updates and breaking news from tonight’s AEW Rampage when they become available.
