A top AEW star has described house shows as “an opportunity for young guys to learn.”
All Elite Wrestling has started to incorporate house shows to its yearly schedule with a series entitled “AEW House Rules” with the first live event taking place on March 18 in Troy, Ohio.
Despite a number of top stars not taking part in the house show, Hangman Page believes it’s a good opportunity for talent in AEW.
Speaking with WFXR, Page commented on the AEW house shows. He stated:
“They’re a good opportunity for younger guys to learn. They’re a good opportunity for guys like me to let our hair down, have fun, not worry about the constraints of television.”
“So I’m really excited about that. It’s a good opportunity to visit somewhere like Roanoke, like Salem. Maybe it’s a test and if it does really well, maybe we come back with TV the next time.”
AEW will hold their next house show in Salem, Virginia on May 13. Hangman Page is advertised for the event.
