Hangman Page suffered a concussion on the October 18 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite in his match against Jon Moxley.
As reported previously, Page was “hit with a lariat clothesline, Hangman’s body continued a forward motion, hitting the mat face first at which point the referee checked on him.”
Page was stretchered from the ring following evaluation by AEW doctor Michael Sampson.
AEW would later issue a statement that Hangman Page was diagnosed with a concussion after being taken to a trauma center in Cincinnati.
He will, as per the statement, remain under AEW’s concussion protocol.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer has issued an update to Page’s condition, stating on Twitter:
“Another update on Page. He’s doing fine.”
“AEW released that Page was discharged from the hospital tonight.”
Today (October 19), Meltzer issued another update on Page’s situation, stating that:
Page is feeling alright and is very appreciative of how everyone handled the situation.
Everyone at WrestleTalk wishes Hangman Adam Page a full recovery.
