Former AEW World Champion Hangman Page appears to have thrown shade on Booker T following his comments on Adam Cole’s physique.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently came under fire for his comments about Adam Cole, arguing that the AEW star needs more muscle, and is ‘bottom light.’
A number of notable names have fired back at Booker T including Renee Paquette who called him out for ‘body shaming’.
Hangman Page has since taken to Twitter to note:
“i just hope that when im old and retired i don’t lower myself to some shit ass podcast where i trash the younger generation that’s just chasing the same fortune wrestling has afforded me”
Page last wrestled on the June 8 edition of Dynamite, scoring a victory over NJPW’s David Finlay. After losing his AEW World Title to CM Punk at Double or Nothing, Page has set his sights on the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
Jay White, who won the IWGP gold at NJPW Dominion, has said that he will select his challenger for Forbidden Door on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
