Hardy Boyz Next WWE Match Revealed

Hardy Boyz Next WWE Match Revealed WWE

The next WWE match for the Hardy Boyz has seemingly been revealed off the back of their win at last night’s NXT Roadblock.

At Roadblock in The Theater at Madison Square Garden, Matt and Jeff Hardy scored the win against NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom in a match that was for the Hardys’ TNA World Tag Team Championship.

After their win, the Hardy Boyz are now teasing a rematch that would be for Fraxiom’s NXT Tag Team Title, which wasn’t on the line at Roadblock.

In a post-match interview released by WWE, Jeff said:

“I think I have a statement and a question. Their human hearts are more like rocket boosters, that’s the fastest team I’ve ever been in the ring with.

“And my question is, do we get a shot at the NXT Tag Titles now?”

Matt added:

“I was gonna say. They’re incredible. I cannot put them over enough, they are amazing and they are the NXT Tag Team Champions for very specific reasons, because they’re incredible.

“But tonight we were defending the TNA World Tag Team Titles and we were able to retain them, but we did beat them. Unfortunately the NXT titles weren’t on the line.

“Maybe next time, the NXT titles will be on the line, because that is something the Hardys do not have on their list of gold.”

Interviewer Sarah Schreiber then said that they’ll have to talk to NXT General Manager Ava to get the match made.

In terms of when it could take place, this week’s TNA Sacrifice event seems out of the question, as the Hardys both already have matches on that card.

Jeff challenges Moose in a ladder match for the TNA X-Division Championship, while Matt is in a 10-man tag match teaming with Joe Hendry, Elijah, Nic Nemeth and Leon Slater against JDC, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, Eddie Colón and Orlando Colón.

That means, unless it was just to take place on a weekly episode of WWE NXT or TNA Impact, the next logical destination would be the NXT Stand & Deliver PLE in Las Vegas during WrestleMania weekend.

We’ll keep you posted as and when any further announcements are made.
