Here is what went down when the Hardy Boyz returned to WWE television for a championship match tonight on NXT.

On tonight’s WWE Roadblock special episode of NXT, TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy made their return to WWE television.

It was announced two weeks ago on NXT television that Matt and Jeff would be in action at Roadblock, defending their TNA World Tag Team Championship against NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom.

The match kicked off tonight’s WWE Roadblock special episode of NXT, which took place in the Theater in Madison Square Garden.

In a fast-paced affair, it was the Hardy Boyz who managed to pick up the victory after some brief miscommunication between Axiom and Frazer led to their defeat.

Matt and Jeff recently competed in a non-title match on NXT television, where they defeated Myles Borne and Tavion Heights of No Quarter Catch Crew.

The Hardys aren’t the only TNA champions appearing at Roadblock, as TNA X-Division Champion Moose is set to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Championship on the show.
