AEW Tag Team Tease Feud With The Lucha Bros In ROH AEW

An AEW tag team has teased a feud with The Lucha Bros in Ring of Honor.

At ROH Supercard of Honor, Lucha Bros won the Reach For The Sky Ladder Match to become new ROH World Tag Team Champions.

They joined an exclusive list of AEW talent who have captured the prestigious tag team straps for Ring of Honor. With such a high profile duo holding these titles, this may lead to other AEW tag teams wanting to challenge Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo for the belts.

The Hardys are one of the most decorated tag teams in professional wrestling history. Despite never winning the AEW World Tag Team Championships, Matt and Jeff Hardy have held the ROH World Tag Team Titles.

Speaking on The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy, the AEW star was asked about The Hardys potentially wrestling in ROH. He answered:

“I think that’s a possibility. I think you could see that happening. I heard at one point, you know, maybe some buzz about having actual blood brothers all locked up in a match.”

“It’s interesting because there are several sets of blood brothers in aw there’s us, The Gunns. There’s The [Young] Bucks and then there’s Penta & Fenix. So who knows?”

“We’ll see what ends up happening, but yeah, I think another match with Penta & Fenix, we have wrestled them before, but I think that would be fun to do a little program with those guys.”

In the same podcast, Matt Hardy said that his brother Jeff is out with a dislocated jaw after an attack from Bullet Club Gold on the June 21 edition of AEW Dynamite.

Hardy last wrestled alongside Isiah Kassidy in a loss to Johnny TV and QT Marshall on the June 30 episode of AEW Rampage.
