WWE has reported that Stevie Ray and Booker T of Harlem Heat will be inducted into the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame.

The brothers captured the WCW Tag Team Championship ten times, a record for the promotion, and WWE has said that the pair ”were one of the most dominant tag teams of the 1990s, steamrolling over the competition”.
Whilst the duo would never wrestle together in WWE, with Stevie Ray actually never competing in a WWE ring, they are to be honoured the night before WrestleMania 35 with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. Booker T, on the other hand, is a former World Heavyweight Champion and enjoyed great singles success in both WCW and later WWE.
Stevie Ray inducted his brother into the Hall of Fame as a singles star in 2015, so this induction will make Booker T one of only three other men to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on two separate occasions, the other two being Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.
Booker T would respond to the news with a heartfelt tweet thanking WWE and their fans.
Thank you @WWE and all the fans for making this happen! #HarlemHeat #HallofFame @ Houston, Texas https://t.co/5xq61vcmrY

Harlem Heat join The Honky Tonk Man, Torrie Wilson and DX as inductees into the Hall of Fame, with more set to be announced in the build-up to WrestleMania.
