Has Netflix Scrapped The Vince McMahon Documentary? WWE

In the wake of all of the “hush-pact” scandals, have Netflix scrapped their upcoming Vince McMahon documentary project?

In shocking new info, Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture reports that according to her sources, the major Netflix project that has been widely speculated to be a documentary was scrapped.

According to Denise Salcedo on Twitter:

“Sources tell me that the Vince McMahon Netflix documentary has been pulled & is off the programming spreadsheet at Netflix. A source at Netflix confirmed it no longer being listed on their spreadsheet, another source at Netflix said “that shit’s out of here.”

“Another source indicated that the project was already “deep” in post-production & that several talent interviews had been done months ago & that millions were spent. I spoke to one of the producers on the project, however they declined to confirm nor deny this story to me.”

As noted by Denise, nothing has been officially confirmed from Netflix’s perspective at this time but an additional tidbit from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful who noted, “Word was that WWE had the right to approve the final cut.”

The fascinating news comes on the heels of another wild Friday where the Wall Street Journal published new allegations regarding Vince McMahon’s alleged sexual misconduct with WWE employees. You can read all about the Vince McMahon news by clicking here.

It is unclear at time of writing if Vince McMahon will appear on tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown as he had when the previous WSJ article broke, however he is reportedly attending SmackDown in his typical creative capacity.
