Heel Turn At WWE Evolution 2025

A heel turn took place on tonight’s WWE Evolution premium live event in Atlanta during a championship match.

The first match announced for WWE Evolution 2 came from the NXT brand, when NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jaynne was announced to be defending her title against Jordynne Grace.

At last night’s WWE Great American Bash event, Jordynne teamed with Blake Monroe to defeat Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence, with Blake scoring a victory over the NXT Women’s Champion.

Ahead of tonight’s Evolution event, Jordynne Grace approached Blake Monroe backstage, asking her to be in her corner for tonight’s NXT Women’s title match.

However, that would end up being Jordynne’s downfall, as Blake would end up betraying Jordynne, hitting her with the NXT Women’s Championship title, allowing Jacy Jayne to retain.

Jacy will now challenge Masha Slamovich at TNA Slammiversary in a winner takes all match between the TNA Knockouts and NXT Women’s Champions.

Jayne revealed in a post-match interview backstage that she’d largely lost her voice after taking an elbow to the throat from Grace during the match.
