Here’s What WWE Reportedly Has Planned For Matt Riddle Main Roster Debut

Following his Cage Fight loss to Timothy Thatcher last night on NXT TV, Matt Riddle is believed to be heading up to the main roster. His debut will not be weeks away, however, as reports suggest that he will be debuting on SmackDown tomorrow night.

People online have been speculating about what WWE’s first storyline for Riddle could be, with rumours suggesting a reunion with a former tag team partner and even a feud with a fellow former NXT star could be on the cards.

We now know (sort of), what WWE has planned for Riddle’s main roster debut, courtesy of Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. On the show, WWE will reportedly air a backstage vignette that Riddle has already filmed.

There is no word on what the content of the vignette is or if it sets up a feud with a SmackDown star. For the latest news, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.

Some had speculated that Riddle could squash an enhancement talent on the show tomorrow night, but unless WWE brings Riddle into the PC to film something before tomorrow’s show, that won’t be happening.
