Here’s Who Was Told About Becky Lynch’s WWE SummerSlam Return

Becky Lynch made her return to WWE after a 16 month absence at last Saturday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view, where she defeated Bianca Belair to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Fightful Select (subscription required) has some more information regarding Lynch’s return to WWE. Fightful says that while Becky’s return was somewhat expected at the show, it was kept very quiet by those within WWE.

Fightful says that Bianca Belair and Carmella were informed of the return ahead of time, but it was officially kept a secret backstage.

Lynch’s name was not listed on the internal run sheets, and WWE had to add segments to the pay-per-view to fill the time that was allocated for Sasha and Bianca.

Fightful notes that Becky’s baby was present backstage, and an excited Becky greeted her after the match.
