WWE’s John Cena produced docu-series WWE Evil hit Peacock this week, leading to an interesting exchange between the 16-time champ and another “Hollywood A-lister,” The Miz on Twitter.
When in typical heel fashion The Miz tweeted at John Cena asking if he remembered the time he beat him at WrestleMania, presumably referencing Cena’s loss to Miz at WrestleMania 27 in 2011, John Cena responded with high praise.
Writing on Twitter, Cena said:
“I do. Vividly. You worked your a** off on the road to the event and at the event itself. Sacrificing your body during the event to do all you could to give the audience every ounce, even possibly at the expense of your own memory. Your passion and dedication hasn’t ever changed.”
WWE Evil dropped eight episodes of the docu-series on Peacock this week, discussing some of the greatest heels in WWE history including Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Stephanie McMahon, Randy Orton, Ric Flair and the subject of episode two, The Miz.
